Dr. Brittany Butts joined the Carothers Pkwy Vet team in June of 2021. She conducted the majority of her graduate studies at Ross University in the Caribbean Island of Barbados and then completed her fourth year at Colorado State University. She then completed a one-year rotating internship at Kansas State University where she sharpened so many of the valuable skills she offers us today. Originally from California, Dr. Butts decided to move to Nashville to experience the seasons and southern living.  She met and married her husband, Sebastian, in August of 2025 and plans to start a family sometime soon.  She has a special interest in and talent for surgery, but when she isn’t in the operating room you may very well find her at Disney World living her best life or enjoying a relaxing evening with her Golden Retriever Riley and her Siamese cat Rufus.
